Welcome to Year 5
Year 5 is an important year for progress and independence in our children; a year to embed all of the knowledge learnt in Lower Key Stage 2; a year to start the preparations for transition to secondary school.
This is often a year when children make rapid growth in maturity They will gain greater independence and confidence as they are encouraged to take more responsibility for their own learning in preparation for bigger things to come.
