Lunches

Our school meals offer a wide selection of nutritionally balanced main meals and desserts. We are happy to accommodate any medical or cultural diets. Please inform staff if your child has any specific requirements.

From September 2022, unless your child qualifies for free school meals, the cost will be £2.45 per day for KS2 children and £2.40 for Nursery and should be paid for via ParentPay. Children in Key Stage 1 will continue to receive free school meals.

If you would like to make any changes to your child's current lunch choice, i.e. a change from packed lunches to school dinners or vice versa, please give us at least one week's notice to enable us to effect the necessary changes in school and with our external caterer.

Free School Meals

All children in Reception, year 1 and year 2 in state-funded schools in England are entitled to receive free school meals.

Free school meals are also available to some older children according to family income.  It’s important to register for entitlement to free school meals, even if your child has a packed lunch or is in a younger class – this is so we can receive additional funding (Pupil Premium)  which we can use to help your child.

If you want to apply for free school meals, or check if your child is entitled to school meals, please visit the Leeds City council website.

Packed Lunches

If your child brings a packed lunch to school, it should be a secure named container and should contain lots of fruit and vegetables. The NHS Eatwell Guide - which shows how to achieve a healthy, balanced diet - can be really useful when deciding what to put into your child's lunch box.

School Milk

If you want your child to have milk at school, you need to register with our supplier Cool Milk
